I am a new Cyber Security Professional with a keen interest in industry trends and continual education. I was drawn to Cyber Security due to its dynamic nature and the exciting opportunities for innovation and professional growth. As a recent graduate of Northwestern’s Cyber Security Bootcamp, I have continued my industry education by obtaining the CompTIA Security+ certification. Through the bootcamp, I honed my skills in Bash Scripting, Network Administration, and Web Development, and gained experience with tools like Autopsy, Splunk, and Azure Web Services.I began my career in Insurance Brokerage, specializing in Claims, where I established myself as the Cyber Claims expert within my team. In this role, I assisted clients during cyber incidents by reviewing and maximizing coverage, working in tandem with vendors and breach counsel, and managing cyber claims to completion. I worked with a diverse range of clients, including those in manufacturing, staffing, and construction. I was also involved in the MMA Cyber Center of Excellence, collaborating with colleagues across MMA to achieve the best outcomes for our clients. My contributions led to my recognition as the 2020 Colleague of the Year.I'm deeply passionate about leveraging cutting-edge cyber security tools to safeguard companies. My eagerness to learn aligns perfectly with the ever-evolving nature of the cyber security industry.
