Plant Maintenance Supervisor
Current• Assign daily work activities to 15 UNIONIZED direct reports including one power engineer, four electricians and ten millwrights and schedule assignments-based priorities and work conditions• Responsible for developing and mentoring an effective team of tradespeople in order to achieve plant and production efficiency by maintaining equipment to a high standard of repair. • Develop and review skill matrix and conduct training for millwright and maintenance helper for continual development of technical skills. • Analyse historical data to IMPROVISE electrical and mechanical preventive maintenance enhancing equipment reliability.• Coordinate with suppliers to get proper feedback and maintain ability standards for the equipment.• Ensured safety training was provided to the staff and proper safety practices were followed.• Implement corrective and prevention actions to improve reliability of the equipment.• Work with purchaser and job planner to come up with cost saving and efficiency strategies related to parts inventory and preventive maintenance programs.• Liaise with contractors for continuous plant process improvement.• Review, revise and maintain the Preventive Maintenance Program.
