My job is to co-lead, with Debra Miller, the development of the models, assessments, and methodologies that can build competencies for being innovative, from senior executives to entry-level employees. I also head up the marketing, where I sincerely enjoy building long-term relationships and providing value in every conversation and every client engagement. I appreciate opportunities to empower internal trainers and external consultants (in countries as diverse as Brazil, Canada, China, Egypt, India, Italy, Singapore, and the USA) to use our materials with their colleagues and clientele - helping to deepen the practice of values centered innovation around the world.The tangible results have been remarkable: innovative new products, processes, and strategies... with bold increases in customer delight and talent development. The intangible results have been equally remarkable: heightened awareness of our inherent ability to be, think and act innovatively, and come together to have an impact that we believe in.

As President of GCC, I refined the models and methodologies for enabling innovation that I had originally researched at SRI International. Through international consulting and training engagements, I had many adventures to help strengthen the corporate culture for innovation with clients... while having the joy of seeing people freed up to be their creative, innovative selves in a climate of trust, authenticity and caring. The innovative outcomes were often profound in terms of achieving work goals while growing professionally and personally.

As head of Innovation Management at SRI International (Stanford Research Institute), I managed and facilitated "innovation searches" for international clients, on high-tech topics such as: * Strategic technology investments to position the company 25 years into the future* New business opportunities with sub-micron ion-exchange resins* New technologies and products to rejuvenate the bowling industry* New business opportunities with spun-bonded fibersI also researched numerous topics in the field of innovation, such as, "How major corporations sustain the innovation cultures of their entrepreneurial acquisitions."

Victor Equipment was the nation's industry leader for gas-welding equipment, with manufacturing plants across the United States. I established the corporate training function for those in management positions, with a focus on building leadership skills with mid-level and entry-level managers.
