Lead the social entrepreneurship and impact investing programs at Chicago Booth's Rustandy Center for Social Sector Innovation. Launch and grow student-led social enterprises, as well as manage the Steven Tarrson Impact Investment Fund and associated programs.

Oversee research, deal sourcing, and diligence for Ekistic Ventures, a venture fund that is actively cultivating a portfolio of disruptive companies that bring new solutions to critical urban problems. We invest our expertise and capital in entrepreneurs and young start-ups that have great ideas to make cities more efficient and equitable.

My responsibilities include advising the Borough President on technology policy issues, such as telecommunications, broadband access, government transparency, and open data initiatives.

Managed $10-$50m in capital and expense allocations to non-profits and city agencies.

Responsible for legislative and budget affairs for New York City Council Member Gale A. Brewer. Liaison to the City Council Committee on Governmental Operations, Chaired by Council Member Brewer, with oversight over the New York City Board of Elections, the New York City Campaign Finance Board, the Department of Citywide Administrative Services, the Department of Records and Information Services, and other agencies. Liaison to the Manhattan Delegation, managing budget allocations for all Manhattan members of the New York City Council.

Managed the successful reelection campaign of New York State Assemblymember Brian Kavanagh. Responsibilities included fielding campaign calls, securing endorsements, drafting press releases and news pieces, updating the campaign website, creating campaign literature, and planning and attending campaign visibility and GOTV events. Also served as Treasurer of the People for Brian Kavanagh campaign committee, where responsibilities included tracking all campaign expenses and contributions, and making periodic campaign finance disclosure reports to the New York State Board of Elections.

Intern in the office of Assemblymember Brian Kavanagh, specializing in constituent affairs and numerous environmental issues such as transportation and the NYC waterfront. Drafted news pieces, testimonials, and recommendations for policy positions. Also managed three pieces of legislation and was responsible for drafting memos, and collecting legislative co-sponsors and memorandums of support from outside organizations.
