Designed and developed a new warehouse management system. The system was built in VS 2008 using C# and the .NET 3.5 framework and compact framework. It handles the receiving, shipping and tracking of all KidKraft inventory. It is composed of services built in WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) running on Windows Server 2008, and clients built on Windows Mobile 6.1 scanners and desktops using WinForms. The services handle and print EPL/ZPL labels and packing slips as well as processing of the data.Built a new stock status utility with C# 3.5 framework using WinForms. This utility was used by internal users to manage and send stock updates regarding inventory to their customers.Implemented SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 and built several reports. Defective product reports, parts reports and web traffic reports.Built a SSIS (Sql Server Integration Services) package that processed check data from Wal-Mart and Target and reconciled it with invoice data in KidKraft’s Sage MAS database. Developed ASP.NET website in the 3.5 framework using C#. It is CSS 2.1 compliant and utilizes nested master pages. Localization was used to provide English and Spanish versions. Features include a store locator and an online application service that validated user information with back end web services. Designed and developed a purchase order request system. Released 3 major versions. This system was built in VS 2008 with on the 3.5 framework consisting of a UI tier a business layer tier and a data tier. The system was developed in ASP.NET C#. All business rules are contained in the business layer tier. All the data is stored and reported in SQL Server 2005. Implemented an End of Day Metric tool for all 80 Flexi Compras stores. This tool is used daily to capture the stores progress for reporting in SQL Server 2005 reporting services. Developed in ASP.NET C# on the 3.5 framework with a 3 tier implementation. All the data is stored and reported in SQL Server 2005. Designed and developed a store employee evaluation tool. This was developed in ASP.NET C# on the 3.5 framework. It captures evaluations of store employees by displaying 25 questions in 5 categories. The questions are weighted and scored. The questions, weight, and scoring are configurable and all the data is stored and reported in SQL Server 2005. Built a test and staging environment on Virtual Server 2005 as well as implemented source control with Subversion. Additionally built a test library of images created with Sysprep for VPC and Virtual Server consisting of Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003, and XP)Designed and developed inventory reports that are used daily in SQL Server 2005 reporting services. Testing and developing JCP.com to be migrated to .NET 3.5 framework. Working on a COM VB6 migration to .NET for the current web site. Designing and developing a robust order entry business layer that will be used by three order placement channels providing for improved maintainability and lower costs.Improved and maintained JCP.com’s shopping basket application. Increased performance by making the application more aware of changed data to minimize database trips. Participated in a yearlong project to implement a Multi-Company website. Built several Manufacturing reports using SQL Server reporting services that helped with monitoring throughput for the factory. Built several complex stored procedures that integrated the correct data and saved the information to a reporting data store. Automated updating Active Directory from HR SQL Server database by building a robust .NET windows service. Designed, developed and supported an ASP.NET application that compiled bitmap images from raw binary data to dynamically display a clickable map. This map was changeable based on the user preferences. This wafer map application allowed defects to be found much faster and allowed for better throughput.
