Dr. Collins has been using and teaching the techniques presented in his classroom management professional development trainings for over thirty years. His staff development in service trainings make the school, classroom, and work place happier, safer, and more successful. In 2013 Dr. Collins joined the Time To Teach team of national trainers. This partnership has made his conference presentations, in service trainings, pre service trainings, staff development and professional development events even more successful by adding published training manuals, classroom management books, classroom management lesson plans, Teach To's, handouts, PowerPoint presentations and marketing support. He is passionate about helping teachers regain their authority in the classroom and their joy of teaching.

Job Description – I was asked by members of the city government to establish an arts council for the city of Forney. I wrote the mission statement, constitution, job descriptions, and filled out all legal paperwork to establish the council as a non-profit entity. I promoted the council to leaders of the community and helped with the seating of the board of directors. All work in the creation of the council was complete after one year. The Forney Arts Council now has many members and conducts many arts events each year.

Expanding from a music performance agency to include grant writing, non profit consulting, floral design, landscaping design, educational lectures, production, and organization of festivals, Collins-Bixler, Inc combined several creative endeavors under one roof . Strong advocacy for the fine arts, arts education, education, and causes that benefit people is the bedrock of our mission. Participation in the decision making process to distribute millions of dollars for fine arts organizations as a board member of The Texas Commission on the Arts was one way of accomplishing this mission. Appointment to Volunteer Executive Director of The Forney Arts Council benefitted a community by promoting activities that benefited the arts and arts education. Many communities, businesses, organizations, and individuals profited from these efforts.

Performed professionally with numerous groups including The Classical Brass Quintet, The Amarillo Symphony, The Austin Symphony, The Mexico City Youth Orchestra, The Bob Hope Show, The Jerry Lewis Show, The Red Skelton Show, and many more.
