William Cornachio focuses his practice on general corporate and commercial real estate matters, mergers and acquisitions, loan and equity financings, real estate finance, and other commercial lending.A partner in Rivkin Radler’s Corporate and Real Estate, Zoning & Land Use Practice Groups, William’s clients include real estate and commercial lenders, distribution companies, owners and developers of commercial properties, construction companies, and a major telecommunications company.William counsels a number of middle market companies with business operations or real estate interests in the New York metropolitan area.He has handled a variety of high-stakes corporate matters, acquisition of a technology subsidiary from a publicly traded company, sell-side private equity transactions, the tax-free merger of a leading manufacturer’s business into a publicly traded company in accordance with the exempt-offering regulations of the federal securities laws, the sale of a medical facility to one of New York City’s largest private hospitals, tax-free divisive split-ups, and a number of major loan transactions to a variety of manufacturing and service businesses.A frequent lecturer to business groups, real estate trade organizations, and lawyers, William is a member of the Commercial and Industrial Brokers Society and the Long Island Real Estate Group. He is Chairman of the Town of North Hempstead Waterfront Advisory Commission. William is actively involved with the Interfaith Nutrition Network, and is counsel to the Long Island Children’s Museum and the Manhasset Bay Sailing Foundation. William is a past board member of the Arthritis Foundation.
