Acted as in-charge auditor on reviews of data centers, SAP systems and configuration, manufacturing facilities and other critical systems to assess controls, compliance with company policies and regulations, and ensure business objectives were being met. Managed external auditors on both co-sourced and out-sourced audit engagements, with teams consisting of 2 to 6 members. I also provided departmental support for Internal Audit tools (ACL, TeamMate, Excel) and assisted with training and on-boarding of new IT and finance auditors.

Quickly took on ownership and support of new IT applications and systems within weeks of starting new position, including new implementations of PDWare Portfolio and Replicon Web Timesheets, in order to support multiple R&D businesses.

Developed and designed SharePoint workspaces and sites for the BD Medical Injection Business which accounts for more than $1.5bn in annual revenue for BD. My work also included reverse engineering and taking ownership of custom Microsoft Project Portfolio Server code created by third party consultants, saving more than $250,000 in consulting costs. Led a 6 person team to create a new project management framework and project deliverables for use by BD’s global IT organization.

Managed a project to consolidate 3 service desks incorporating IT Information Library (ITIL) bestpractices for BD’s Biosciences business. This project included the development of ITIL deliverables such as a service catalog, service reference cards and service level agreements, establishing a single point of contact through the consolidation of 3 service desks into a singlevirtual service desk and utilization of the Six Sigma methodology to identify defects and process improvements. I also led a global team of 17 associates to create a web portal for requesting and approving the distribution of company supplied laptops.

Led a project to create a worldwide BD remote access standard following Six Sigma methodologyand internal procurement procedures, which included interfacing with multiple vendors for a request for proposal (RFP) process and directing a proof of concept. I also developed a uniform format for the creation of network engineering standards.

Developed and implemented SAPConsole RF transactions for a major BD distribution center. These transactions reduced shipment receiving time by 50% and resulted in a reduction in keyingerrors. This project included the gathering and documentation of user requirements in order to design and facilitate the creation of the new SAP transactions and the creation of testing documentation for the validation of the new transactions.
