About William Crawford

I've spent the last twenty years helping build SaaS and consumer product companies in healthcare, business software and consumer electronics - including building the Boston office at Fitbit and managing engineering across several domains globally. Along the way I've helped companies get ready for IPOs, establish Agile development processes, build the infrastructure for large-scale data analytics and discover go-to-market strategies for complex software systems. Today I'm the Chief Technology Officer and Head of Advisory Services at Newfire Global Partners, an international product development and consulting form that works with digital health (and other!) companies at all stages, from seed to Fortune 50. I used to write books from O'Reilly & Associates about web and enterprise software development. I still try to keep up. Always happy to hear from anyone interested in getting in touch - however, if we don't know each other please send me an inmail or a LinkedIn message rather than immediately trying to add me as a contact.
