My role as a market manager is to grow and develop these wineries in Colorado and the region, work closely with our distributor in devising programs that fit the unique needs of our customers.

Worked for the largest beverage distributor of beer, wine, and spirits in the state of Colorado. Responsible for presenting programs and products to key accounts in the front range of Colorado, focusing on fine wine and producers from more eclectic and artisanal portfolios. Am a resource for our sales force and customers in all facets of product knowledge training and consultations, including regional styles, developing wine programs for both restaurants and off-premise units, wine appellations and laws, and viticulture and viniculture. I am utilized to develop and host events such as wine dinners, and trade or consumer tastings.

Beverage Manager and Sommelier for established French restaurant in Denver. Oversaw wine list of approximately 650 selections, with annual 'Award of Excellence' from Wine Spectator from 1983-2004.

Responsible for operations in upscale hotel restaurant with a casual flair and hiring, training, and career growth for approximately 30 employees. In addition, I worked closely with all areas of the food and beverage department, focusing on the wine and spirits program, and was personally responsible for developing the first hotel-wide beverage trainings held in-house at the Brown for all employees on a regular basis.
