I collaborated with the Analytics department at Bose to update their analytics stack from Talend to dbt. As part of this project, I trained their analysts on the best practices for using dbt. I also helped translate Talend Jobs to dbt Models, scheduled projects with dbt Cloud and Slim CI, and automated code reviews, releases, and deployments with GitHub Actions CI/CD Workflows.

I was part of a team that oversaw the migration of Stanley Black & Decker's data from Redshift to Snowflake. To accomplish this task, we utilized dbt in a number of ways. For example, we automated the creation of models using Collibra metadata, converted stored procedures to dbt models, and documented and managed the warehouse.

By transforming the MTA Subway System into a graph network, I was able to customize an open-source python package and generate over 1600 routes capable of breaking the world record. I still have yet to attempt the record because I cannot stay awake on a train to save my life.
