Prior to the acquisition of Sybase by SAP, the business unit was called Sybase 365.Bill had full responsibility for Sybase 365’s Messaging Team including inter-operator SMS and MMS products (P2P), mobile messaging hubs and services (A2P SMS and MMS) as well as overseeing product strategy and new product development initiatives for all messaging initiatives, new strategies and platforms. Bill and his team were also involved in defining future strategies and product direction around mobile IP, IPX, LTE, RCS, and IMS based technologies serving both the mobile and fixed telecom industry.In 2007, he initiated activities with the Sybase Corporate Development team that ultimately resulted in the acquisition of MMS and GRX assets of Cable & Wireless - a move that helped Sybase 365 become one of the largest GRX service providers in the world and set its future course into mobile IP and Fixed-Mobile Convergence.Mobile 365 was acquired by Sybase during September 2006 with acquisition closed on November 8th, 2006. Mobile 365 is company created by the merger of InphoMatch (Washington DC area) and Mobileway (Paris, France & London, UK).
