Senex is currently reviewing development options for the Western Surat Gas Project (WSGP) with the aim to supply up to 50TJ/day of sales gas from the project area ($800m capital investment).Key reponsibilities* Develop in-house project delivery capability to support each progressive stage of the WSGP Project. * Build and manage project baselines and analytical review and mitigation of critical risk on all schedule activities, advising status and impact in strategic operational meetings.* Own the risk management process for the WSGP project; leading / participating in risk review and assessment workshops. * Maintain the project risks, assumptions registers, and establish follow up action plans.* Preparation of project cost performance reports, annual budget, Project Board Packs and Executive presentations.* Provide commercial and financial analysis support across all disciplines.

GVK has long been a pioneer in the infrastructure sector in India and has recently acquired a majority share in Hancock Coal and Infrastructure projects in Australia. The projects are, together, one of the largest integrated coal development projects in the world and includes the development of an extensive thermal coal deposit in Queensland's Galilee Basin. The project will have a collective value of approximately $10 billion and will involve the construction of approximately 495 km of rail, port facilities, mine infrastructure, process plant and workforce village.Key Responsibilities• Participation and support of negotiations with venture partners and /or suppliers, reviewing commercial models and financial arrangements ensuring minimal risk and maximum benefits for the business.• Liaison with mine-operations personnel to assess and consider operational interactions between based operating plan and alternative project plans and scenarios to optimise project outcomes and value.• Facilitation and completion of risk assessments, risk mitigation and sensitivity analysis of the suit of projects.• Liaison with management consultants / contractors for the project. • Preparation of inputs for and development of economic evaluation and financial modelling of the project(s) options.• Preparation for and facilitation of stage gating of the project in accordance with GVK/Hancock’s Capital Projects governance process.• Preparation of project budgets and schedules, managing and reporting to maintain the project on time and to plan.• Preparation of reports, data and presentations as required to support mining and environmental approvals, studies documentation, and GVK/Hancock internal Life of Mine (LOM) and Project Pipeline processes.• Managing program reporting of project’s KPIs to key stakeholders and liaise between technical, business staff and third parties (E.g. External auditors, banks, etc.).
