Also helped support film and paper manufacturing operations with troubleshooting, product commercialization, process development and manufacturing process improvement, especially with respect to electrostatics and high voltage technologies associated with coating.My work included consulting with foreign plants to help solve their manufacturing problems, evaluate their processes and upgrade their equipment. In particular, I developed and led an international process improvement team consisting of one manufacturing engineer from each major manufacturing site to bring all sites up to baseline, establish best practices, establish process verification, and drive toward 6-Sigma operation.

Directly supporting sophisticated manufacturing processes and technologies in the premier film coating site at Eastman Kodak. This included various conveyance responsibilities and being a technical expert in various arcane technologies, especially CDT, charge control, darkroom light control and darkroom human factors. The work included leading ATS teams and specialized maintenance teams as well as capital and process improvement and development teams.

Evaluated problems in manufacturing involving electrostatic issues, including fire safety issues in solvent handling areas, personnel safety issues, evaluation of materials for conductivity and electrostatic charging, evaluation of incendivity of static discharges.
