I was responsible for all purchasing and subsequent vendor relations and new vendor evaluations. I was instrumental in directing the inventory management with the various 3PL warehouses that we had established both in the US and other countries. Operations is headquartered in Wayne, PA with regional warehouses supporting each market.In my role as Supply Chain & Logistics Manager I directed all purchasing operations and maintained current vendor relationships. I evaluated and approved new vendor opportunities and negotiated pricing terms. I had direct oversite of the warehouse teams and coordinated with each team to assure all retail and service outlets were sufficiently stocked. I managed the service departments that handled all device repairs, exchanges and supplier support. I also coordinated logistics with contractors and suppliers for new locations build outs as well as for existing store closings and lease terminations. I managed the hiring process for the logistics and service teams and coordinated training for my staff. Over the course of my position with Wireless Channels I established and implemented inventory forecasting and review processes minimizing overstock and reducing overall inventory costs. I reduced inventory turns through this process to an average of 60 days, well below industry standards.
