William Ealy is a 11-12 Campus Leader for Marlin ISD. Self-driven and motivated starting my 18th year of experience as an educator who strives to always increase student performance through data driven instruction. Ealy has been in education serving in positions ranging from teacher, varsity basketball coach, Instructional Specialist, curriculum writer, professional development facilitator, campus testing coordinator, mentor teacher, and Administrator. William’s motto is “to meet all students where they are and take them where I want them to go.” With that mindset, he has been instrumental in turning around two campuses that were improvement required in Houston ISD: Foster Elementary-IR4 (Teacher Leader) and Dogan Elementary-IR6 (Teacher Specialist). William was instrumental in increasing student achievement in Marlin ISD and helping to turn around Marlin ISD (IR 11) to a B rated school district. His work ethic and passion to educate all students is evident on each campus that he has served. While being a dedicated member of the Central Texas Alliance of Black School Educators (CenTex ABSE), Mr. Ealy also is a member of the Texas Alliance of Black School Educators (TABSE). He has won several awards in education including Top 40 Under 40 for Houston Educators and Teacher of Year. His path into education began at the University of Central Arkansas earning a Bachelor of Science in Health Science. William is scheduled to graduate with his master’s degree from Texas Southern University in Education Administration and Supervision.
