I’ve been a reader since I was tiny, choosing books over toys every time if my mother’s accounts are to be believed. Ever since I could write, it’s come naturally. Growing up near and often visiting Lord Byron’s ancestral home at Newstead Abbey, alongside my super-talented great auntie Joyce, instilled a love for the romantic and poetic which infuses itself with my writing. My written work is beautifully accessible, promoting LGBTQ+ and Disability/Disabled advocation, mental health awareness, and gender equality through the power of language to capture the heart and mind. Meanwhile I devote my spare time to witchcraft, writing devotional poems, self-improvement journaling, and practicing mindfulness and meditation.I’m currently seeking work that melds creative writing and a powerful motivation, in line with my experience and the social causes I care most about. My happy place in a career would be anywhere I can make a positive change with my writing, perhaps while sprinkling a bit of magic along the way.
