The portal allows for the recording of assessments of our students throughout the school year and the dissemination of those records to our parents via quarterly report cards and weekly updates.• The educational portal has been developed using a stack of Ember.js, Sails.js and MongoDB on a Digital Ocean instance.

• Responsible for creating and delivering on quarterly technical strategy and roadmap for development teams, reviewed large systems architecture design including sometimes chipping in to help establish patterns and best practices, negotiated and aligned with other business units on areas we needed help with, all the while being devoted to unblocking teams to reduce barriers to execution, delivery & release.• Planned and co-ordinated multi-team and multi-org projects. Responsible for and managed 4 engineering teams [Growth, UI/FE Platform, Mobile Platform & Card Services] consisting of 4-6 engineers per team. Project was so well received that it led to a larger project of redesigning all our front-ends across all our banking applications with this micro frontend pattern in mind.• Led restructuring of our engineering hiring process to be more efficient and focused on bringing in the right talent to NorthOne. Partnered with Recruiting & PeopleOps to increase our engineering headcount by 20% over 6 months.

• Managed & led multiple engineering teams responsible for Discovery’s TVE apps. Including pioneer team Investigation Discovery GO for Discovery’s patent pending Eos framework that delivered all 18 brands across 10 platforms on one unified code base. Main technologies: React Native, React, TypeScript and goLang. • Developed and facilitated company wide training to over 30 engineering leaders on the Eos framework out of our Eurosport headquarters in Paris, France.• On-boarded, trained and managed 18 off-shore developers out of Bangalore, India that were embedded into our GO teams upon completion of my program.• Owned recruiting efforts for Discovery Digital to deliver ten key new hires ahead of schedule. Utilizing new and creative tactics to deliver on the hiring goal, such as organizing JS/React meetups at Discovery’s HQ, coordinating all day hiring events, and tapping my expanding networks of NYC tech companies & groups.• Trusted advisor to the Director of Engineering in gauging, managing, and constantly improving team morale and culture by aligning company needs with individual engineer’s needs in terms of projects and team events.

• Embedded consultant with Casper’s shop teams tasked with building a multi-repository system consisting of a server-rendered Storefront SPA built with React and Redux consuming data from a Rails API and ContentfulJS.• Development lead responsible for the build out of a design system based on atomic design principles which is consumed by Casper’s applications (Storefront SPA, Checkout SPA and Operations Applications).• Responsible for the creation of a Landing Page system that empowered marketing to create on the fly landing pages in ContentfulJS with dynamic URLs using the modules and components from the design system.

• Responsible for the SDLC, planning release schedules with time allocated for tasks such as code reviews, merges, deployments, container management, build script evolution, bug fixes and acts of e-nature.• Nestle development lead for the redesign of 3/5 Nestle Water sites: Arrowhead, Zephyrhills and Poland Spring. Introduced responsive design to the organization as before all the sites were separately designed and to a large extent coded for each device: mobile, tablet and desktop.• CLEAResult development lead for the rebuild of their site. Implemented a Jekyll/Contentful stack to solve CLEAResults ask of having a content management system for regular updates and a fast site. With the headless CMS that Contentful offers and the publishing model of a static framework like Jekyll we were able to deliver.• Family Docket development lead for the building of their beta version web application for family practice lawyers’ divorce cases. The application was built using a React.js / Redux / Node.js / Postgres stack. This was a 7 month project finalizing with a pretty feature rich beta product to be shopped around trade shows and tested by 1 firm in 2018. For this build I played the role of development lead throughout the project and also direct full stack contributor.

• Led a team consisting of 3 developers and a UI/UX designer that worked closely with the internal design department to maintain the brand of Kendra Scott across all features• Responsible for the front-end implementation of v2 of Kendra Scott’s flagship feature: The Color Bar. This product is responsible for all online and in-store orders of Kendra Scott’s line of customizable jewelry pieces. • Implemented a re-design of the site working closely with the internal design team teaching them how to fit branding into responsive design and how to steer away from pixel perfect designs.

• In house web consultant working as part of a small team with cross-departmental skills in marketing, copy writing, design, development, and more.• Created marketing websites from the ground up that load quickly, bake in best-practices, and work across a broad range of devices.• Worked with clients to establish goals before each project, design to meet these goals and iterate over time to improve results by staying up to date on the latest design and development tools and methodologies.• Used a modern but flexible stack that uses the most appropriate set of tools for a particular job while using automated front-end developments tools that allow more efficient development while delivering better, faster results.

• Lead front-end developer in charge of developing a modern architecture for an out of date php website by extracting all php code from the front-end, creating API end-points and implementing a prototypical inheritance javascript object structure with the intention of integrating a javascript framework in the near future.• Built with the following front-end tools and technologies: SASS with Bourbon.io and custom mixins, jQuery, hello.js, list.js, handlebars.js, Bootstrap, Bower and Gulp.js.• Used project management methodologies such as scrum and sprints for our development cycles with tools such as trulia and slack for collaboration and idea management.

• Worked on a development team that consisted of 5-10 developers, QA engineers and a designer that adhered to scrum and agile methodologies while implementing a cloud based architecture in Ember.js, Node.js and MongoDB using AWS.• Baked off for the engineering department multiple front end frameworks mainly AngularJS and Ember.js to demonstrate the pros and cons of each before choosing to implement one for Compass' new front end architecture.• Responsible for leading the implementation, flushing out and building up of our front end architecture in Ember.js for a media content management web application that would be responsible for creating, editing and previewing over 17,000 learning activities grouped into lessons for Compass Learning's Odyssey educational software.• The following technologies were also used in the building of our application: Github, Mongoose, Node Inspector, RequireJS, Grunt, SASS, HTML5, Bootstrap, Handlebars.js and Dropzone.js.

• Currently, the lead for Touch/Listing Team that is currently tasked with implementing a responsive design for uShip’s listing process in order to facilitate a smooth UI experience for our users in listing shipments on mobile phones and tablets.• Led a mobile team composed of a quality assurance associate, a junior developer and a senior architect responsible for the creation of a touch friendly mobile website built on jQuery Mobile, MVC and Nhibernate.
