Over the years, I have represented many privately owned businesses from startups to middle market companies. I have helped to organize them, prepared buy-sell agreements, created retirement plans and executive compensation arrangements, assisted with the purchase and leasing of equipment and real estate, negotiated and prepared other types of contracts, such as confidentiality agreements, non-compete agreements and intellectual property agreements, and negotiated and closed on the purchase and sale of many of these businesses. A lot of the companies I have represented have been family owned businesses with unique estate and succession planning needs.
