Support Service for the deployment of Automation Systems for Air Navigation Services, whose purpose is the development of specifications, drafting of associated documentation, testing of both systems and the overall solution in Area Control Centers.In particular, and in relation to the Automation systems (SACTA / SCV), the activities are:· Analysis of the needs of the systems in the different sites.· Preparation of all technical documentation necessary to undertake the new systems.· Support in the execution of the files (development, installation, verification, commissioning, documentation, training, safety.)· Definition of transition strategies and procedures and various documentation for commissioning.· Support in the process of implementation and commissioning.• Set-up and audio quality tests in VoIP systems COMETA (Integrated IP Voice Communications in SACTA): Voice Communications System over IP protocol, based on the EUROCAE 67 standard for Air Traffic Control Centers

QoS tests and adjustments in VoIP systems based on the EUROCAE 67 standard for Air Traffic Control Centers.

•Monitoring, verification and management of incidents, for Telefónica, of the Voice and Data network of the Cepsa company, nationally and internationally. •Cisco, IP Voice based on Cisco Call Manager, Teldat (routing and switching) and Juniper (firewall) technology, on Macrolan structure, VPN-IP (ADSL, ISDN, 3G), interlan, GPRS.•LAN network supervision. Programming and support of videoconferences with the CISCO TMS platform and with Polycom equipment. •Provision tasks, proactive monitoring of the Netcool network, management, monitoring and resolution of Vantive and ServicesNow incidents, as well as customer requests attention.

Main Responsibilities: • Technical support to biddings and marketing department • Deployment of IPTV headend. • Technical support for Value Added Services (VAS) product line of ZTE de Venezuela. Included products: IPTV, DTH, ZTE NM. • Configuration, support and maintenance deployment for fixed network access products, including: NGN Access Nodes, IPDSLAM, GPON • Interface with customers to clarify technical questions and requirements • Interface with Project Managers and Account Managers to define scope of work, project schedule, and resource planning. • Coordinate and supervise sub-contractor technical activities. • Perform and supervise Acceptance Test Procedures of NGN, IPTV, DTH and IPDSLAM equipment. • Prepare and review formal reports of status and progress of the projects to be deliver to the customer (As built, low level design, IP Plan, Interconnection Diagram). • Supervise technical activities, risks mitigation, debugging and commissioning of wireline equipments. • Provide advanced trainings customers related to DTH, IPTV and NGN systems. • Homologation test of new equipments like IPTV STBs and PLCs. • Prepare projects technical documents.

When I worked in this position I provide technical support to all networks controlled from the Data Services Network Operations Centre. I was responsible for: • network analysis • proactive alarm management • keep track of scaled points • network management of the NOC The position also was help the subcontractors to make or fix the installation by phone and participation in a 24x7x365 shift pattern I supervised the data transmission services of satellite, microwave; including internet services, line provisioning, media streaming services, equipment provisioning, installation and managed of modems In the platforms were equipments of differents brands like CISCO, Harris, Scientific Atlanta, Huawei among others. Because the company offers its services to national and multinational companies, financial institutions, governmental entities, and other business customers this work was a really good learning experience.

My degree thesis was: Design and implementation of a testing laboratory for the study of integration between Cisco and Huawei equipment Because equipments are developed by different manufacturers exist certain proprietary protocols, therefore it is necessary to conduct a thorough study of both, to establish what level could perform the integration. The key parameters in this study were the parameters of Quality of Service (QoS) were: echo, delay, jitter and packet loss and was successfully completed structure that can be integrated networks of both manufacturers. With the creation of this platform was improved development of networking activities for the compatibility, because it can be made many test configurations and just implement the correct one. Also with this work an educational tool placed on the intranet, so the staff had easy access to it and could be trained in the implementation of this integration.
