Developed platforms and teams that were responsible for overseeing leasing in the Western and Southeastern U.S. which included a portfolio of approximately 70 shopping centers totaling 10+million square feet. Transacted 2 million square feet of leases and oversaw another 1.5 million square feet in leasing production across regions. Hired and managed internal dealmaker teams and 3rd party brokers in executing value creation strategies on behalf of our owner and shareholders.

Oversaw leasing for the company’s shopping center portfolio in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Hawaii, totaling 1.5 million square feet and was responsible for transitioning all leasing responsibilities in-house from a network of 3rd party brokers. Leased over 330,000 square feet totaling $65 million in total lease consideration.

Responsible for leasing and managing the company’s in-house retail portfolio totaling more than 625,000 square feet in Georgia and successfully increased overall portfolio occupancy by 15% in less than 12 months. Helped establish and grow the company’s 3rd party retail platform through leasing and management assignments with a number of local and regional ownership groups.

Worked with the Retail Capital Markets/Investment Sales teams in analyzing and developing asset disposition strategies on behalf of both private and institutional clients. Underwrote, prepared offering memorandums, and managed due diligence reviews and buyer qualification process on transactions totaling more than $150 million.

Worked with the retail tenant representation group on leasing transactions across Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and the Carolinas. Also helped develop and establish the Atlanta project leasing practice group which represented shopping center owners and developers.

Participated in the Broker Consultant program which provided an opportunity to assist the office, industrial, retail, and multi-family investment sales teams in market research and investment material preparation.
