I have been working with computers for over 30 years and have hardly ever been without one. I started with the C=64 and Apple ][ writing bulletin board software and role playing games for my BBS system, and since then I have always been involved in networking of one fashion or another.I have wide range of experience with operating systems from the entire Microsoft range, Macintosh 7.6 to OSX, and Linux, also a range of experience with various software Active Directory/Exchange/Outlook/Office. I enjoy working with a range of hardware, software and programming languages, and last but not least I am a member of the Microsoft Partners program with access to the Microsoft Action Pack.My last job in England was working for Deeter Electronics in the United Kingdom as an IT Manager responsible for all internal IT and the running of the company websites. The nickname was Mr. IT. I have enjoyed a wide range of experiences in my life. Working for Corporatec in London was fantastic, providing support for hedge funds. I have also travelled, I was in Bukoba in Tanzania to assist a friend with his Internet Café’s and the configuration of some systems to run an ISP. Some areas of the town are connected via wireless line of site connections, or long cable runs. While I was at Vicomsoft (www.vicomsoft.com) I was dealing with a wide range of LAN/WAN networks with as many as 2000 users, to as little as 2 users. Vicomsoft main product is a software TCP/IP router with NAT (Network Address Translation) and other firewall properties. I was also given the opportunity to manage the Vicomsoft booth at MacWorld 2000, and also assist with the training of new support engineers in Denver.
