As a management trainee at Hajoca I will be working my way through different stages of training to learn all of the job functions of a profit center manager. Throughout the stages of my training I will hone my customer service skills, learn purchasing, pricing, and accounting functions, as well as learn how to grow sales and profits by prospecting for new business.

The Joyce Agency is a manufacturer’s representative who serves as a middleman between a variety of plumbing, heating, and building manufacturers and the wholesalers, primarily in the Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. areas. Throughout this internship I will be moving throughout the company in order to learn as much as I can about The Joyce Agency, manufacture representatives, sales, cold calling, and more. I am grateful for the opportunity to work for The Joyce Agency this summer and can not wait to see what I will learn over the course of my internship.

Our company works with both borrowers and lenders to supply a one stop method for small businesses to get SBA loans. In this internship I am learning about the SBA loan process, servicing loans for our partnering banks, and managing marketing for the company.

Came back to help over the Christmas season and train some new employees.
