Cremer is a producer and distributor of disposable healthcare products, based in Blumenau, SC (Southern Brazil). Leader in the domestic market, the company has some 2,600 employees and gross revenues of R$ 426 million in 2008. Its stocks are traded in the Novo Mercado segment of the São Paulo Stock Exchange (BOVESPA). In addition to the statutory responsibilities of the CFO/IR position, he used to accumulate the positions of Executive Director in the subsidiary Plásticos Cremer Ltda. and Finance Director in the subsidiary Hemocat Ltda., recently acquired. His team had 44 people and he was absorbing IT and Legal Departments when he left the company. The tenure in this position was interrupted by the change in the ownership of the company, with the new controlling stockholders simultaneously electing a new CEO and a new CFO of their own.

Second largest bank in Spain, with presence in almost all LatAm countries, BBVA has a representative office in Brazil to manage the relationship with the largest Brazilian companies and groups. Responsible for BBVA’s M&A practice in Brazil, leading a five people team. Coverage, working with other M&A teams of BBVA, throughout Latin América and part of Europe, with deals in energy, food, environmental services and water treatment, textile, cement and steel. Transactions underway when he left the bank involved Spain, Colômbia, Peru, México and Chile.

In charge of in house advice (Itaucorp), as well as advice to clients in project finance and M&A, as well as privatizations. Responsible for the entrance of Banco Itaú in the advisory business in privatizations, helping IBM do Brasil and Delphos Serviços Técnicos in the privatization of Datamec (IT services).

Responsible for origination and execution of M&A, privatizations and financial restructuring. Has coordinated the advisory on the renegotiation of a US$130 million excess debt of Adubos Trevo S.A., executed the investment of BancBoston Capital in the privatization of Malha Centro-Leste (Ferrovia Centrol-Atlântica), coordinated due diligence activities in the privatization of Banco Meridional (in house support to BankBoston). Has also participated in deals involving telecom, energy, food, transportation and retail.

In charge of BankBoston’s relationship with domestic and foreign financial institutions, involving origination and structuring of deals and management of the credit process. Has coordinated the first experience of BankBoston in the joint credit approval (group involving all credit relationships in a single industry) for brokers and dealers for Bovespa and BM&F. Has promoted a strong expansion of leasing transactions in the financial industry and the first deals of BankBoston as provider of trade finance facilities to other banks in Brazil.

Responsible for managing the credit and business relationship of Citibank with domestic and foreign companies, working in RIBEIRÃO PRETO (1987~06/90) and CAMPINAS (07/90~06/92). Member of Citibank’s credit committee and industry specialist (in different moments) of the following industries: auto parts, orange juice, sugar and alcohol and men’s shoes. Has coordinated Citibank’s first experience in Brazil on joint credit facilities approval (as would later do in BankBoston), involving al sugar & alcohol credit relationships of Citibank in the northern region of São Paulo State.

Support to Citibank Corpotrate Banking’s Sales force on structuring transactions involving (but not limited to) local currency. Responsible for the implementation, with the Sales force, of several financial products and tailored solutions making use of “correção monetária” (inflationary restatement), US dollar funded loans with correção monetária.
