    The Reproducibility Initiative (later renamed the Reproducibility Project: Cancer Biology) was an 8-year, ~$2M effort to replicate experiments from high-impact cancer biology papers published between 2010 and 2012. In collaboration with the Center for Open Science and Science Exchange, the project aimed to replicate 193 experiments from 53 of the most highly-cited cancer biology papers from 2010-2012. This project set the standard for metascience, changed journal policies, and was covered in The Atlantic, Wired, PBS, as well as in industry publications such as Nature and Science.Marcia McNutt, President, U.S. National Academy of Science said, "Projects such as this one are important for understanding how to make all of our research more rigorous."As co-founder, I wrote the grant, hired program staff, developed the study selection criteria, wrote the experimental plans, co-wrote the Registered Reports for each replication, and designed & executed the communications strategy.Read more at https://www.cos.io/rpcb
