This has been a great opportunity to work on a variety of projects. The current project is not far from the end. It spanned from the design of the hardware accelerators for the NVMe command handler for an SSD controller, through the component testing on an FPGA prototyping system and then to the design and development of the firmware to control the host command handling. With software prototype platforms and FPGA prototypes the first silicon controller chips can arrive and come up quickly. It has been satisfying to see development progress as it should.
