Bill Way is the CEO and co-founder of Fit Via Vi - a financing and production company focused on director-driven work that celebrates authentic, diverse, and bold voices in film, television, and theater. He is an Executive Producer on HBO's REALITY starring Sydney Sweeney, Dash Shaw's Sundance award winner CRYPTOZOO, Max Walker Silvermans A LOVE SONG, Justin Kurzel's upcoming MORNING starring Laura Dern and Benedict Cumberbatch, and Kirsten Johnson's SONTAG starring Kristen Stewart. He is also a Co-Producer on Fatboy Slim and David Byrne's Broadway musical HERE LIES LOVE, and the Broadway adaption of THE KITE RUNNER. In addition to his work in film and theater, Bill has focused on business-driven solutions to global poverty. Bill is actively involved in social capital, serving as the part-time pro bono executive and board member with MCE Social Capital, where he has helped spur the growth of this startup to a lending capacity of over $150M. MCE Social Capital has funded over 400,000 micro-entrepreneurs in over 50 countries. Bill is also passionate about environmental conservation, advocating for sustainable practices and preserving our planet's natural beauty. As a dedicated board member for The Nature Conservancy, he actively contributes to their mission of protecting and restoring ecosystems for future generations. Prior to working in entertainment, Bill had a successful career as Managing Director with Accenture.Bill is active in the community and currently/recently serves as a Director/Trustee of Whitman College (Finance Chair), Phoenix Art Museum Board (past Chairman), Akili Dada, The Nature Conservancy (Chairman), Arizona Citizens for the Arts, ASU Gammage Theatre, Southwest Shakespeare Company, The School of Life Project, the Asian Arts Council of Phoenix, and the Tesseract School.He also works with the for profit sector serving on the board of Smead Capital and two mid size private equity funds.Bill is a passionate weekend warrior, completing many triathlons, marathons and rowing regattas, including the Boston Marathon, Arizona Ironman and Henley Masters Regatta.
