An office based work environment which involves processing prescriptions and call handling at the same time. Inputting prescriptions which contain sensitive, personal medical information requires diligence and accuracy whilst inputting as errors could lead to a serious incident. Receiving calls in regards to re-ordering oxygen and dealing with a multitude of issues that may arise with equipment and consulting with clinicians about what a patient is prescribed.

Working for an agency meant I had to be dynamic and quick to learn what was required within each workplace. Each day I went to work involved working with individuals whom I had never met in an environment I was unfamiliar with. Due to this I had to learn quickly everyday and generate new relationships with my colleagues. I really enjoyed this as it kept me on my feet and allowed me to meet many new and interesting people many of which I am happy to say I still know to this day.

Portugal, Praia Da Luz

Living and working in another country was a great experience. Fortaleza da Luz is such a beautiful establishment and allowed me to integrate with people with so many cultures and backgrounds. Whilst there I was arranging the bookings for the Sunday afternoon event 'Jazz Sunday'. Living abroad whilst I was nineteen allowed me to really understand how to stand on my own two feet and be responsible.
