I am a Senior International Director of Technology at Phillips Auction House. I oversee the entire global IT enterprise. I have led many initiatives at Phillips such as live mobile bidding (now 60-80% of bidding), cloud migration, transition to an Agile/DevOps strategy, and management with many third party partners such as Auction Mobility and NetSuite. Lately I am deeply involved in Digital Art, NFTs, blockchain and AI. I am an effective team leader and applications developer with expertise in full stack technical design. I have a total of 20+ years experience in IT with a main focus in the auction industry. Most of my career has been spent working with the Microsoft stack, but I am technology agnostic and am constantly engaging in multiple technology platforms.Throughout my career I have worked on large corporate systems as well as many smaller web applications. I am comfortable working in any environment with any size team. I am a quick study, exceptionally adaptable and a highly motivated person who understands how to complete projects and deliver results. I strive to use best practices to keep programming clear and agile. Through my reading, studies and practical application, I have gained a thorough understanding of Object Oriented programming theory and software design patterns.I am a team leader who understands how to maximize talent for optimal results. I currently lead a team using agile project methodology using constant, effective and simple communication to bridge the gap that can occur between technical and non-technical persons to create solutions that work for its users and leave a clear legacy left behind for future development.
