As a fourth-year student at the University of Florida, I am pursuing a dual B.S. in Biological Engineering - Biosystems and B.A. in Hispanic & Latin American Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics - Spanish with a minor in International Studies in Agricultural and Life Sciences. My extracurricular involvements include Freshman Leadership Engineering Group (FLEG), Gator Wesley Foundation, UF Club Triathlon Team, and the UF Student Honors Organization. To further enrich my academic experience, I have interned at the UF/IFAS Gulf Coast Research & Education Center in the Plant Phenomics research group. In addition, I have completed a study exchange experience for the Spring 2023 semester at Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid, Spain and a study abroad for the Summer 2024 semester at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso in Valparaíso, Chile. I am actively sworn in to the U.S. Navy as an Officer Candidate through the Nuclear Propulsion Officer Candidate (NUPOC) Program. Following graduation, I will attending Officer Commissioning School to become a Submarine Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy.
