Chief Procurement Officer
CurrentThe Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) position is responsible for performing administrative work in procuring goods and service, design services, construction services and bid solicitation needs for the City, as well as implementing and monitoring the purchasing, procurement and public bidding laws of the Commonwealth for the City's procurement system. The CPO advises the City's departments on the legal requirements of procurement law to facilitate the spending of public funds in a compliant and ethical manner. The CPO also serves as the City's risk manager, managing all insurance policies.
