See KelstonRoundhill.com: iconic landmark, 160 acres of relatively poor quality farmland and a refurbished barn used for education and leisure events. We work with the tenants Park Farm (Bath Soft Cheese Company), in partnership with local schools and with events organisers. Kelston is now trialling renewables for the off-grid barn.

This is honorific, set up initially to work on public-service feedback mechanisms: see publicexperience.com. Recently my work has been more focussed on user-centic identity and customer-driven relationships: see Mydex.org. The Young Foundation is a wonderful institution that has been through a rough patch; it places no demands on Fellows.

DXW is an exemplary and fast-growing provider of digital transformation and web-based services to the public sector. It now employs 50 staff in valuable and well-paid roles. I advised the founder from before the foundation of DXW; now I chair the Advisory Board.

Present projects are Fairfield House Bath CIC, and putting Roundhill Barn at Kelston to good use. Past recent projects include establishing as local co-ops The Bell Inn and Bath City FC. I've been active in digital rights and the quest for better digital public services, but I'm roundly fed up with both tech and UK government and largely disengaged from both. I manage and live off assets arising from a research and marketing business disposal in 2007; these are invested in startups, a farm and a managed ESG portfolio.

ARC is a remarkable organisation that has been moving the world's faiths towards sustainability. As ARC's lifespan came to an end - with the retiring of Secretary General Martin Palmer and its patron HRH Prince Philip - it moved its final focus to faith in finance or faith-consistent investment. I advised the secretary-general during this personal and corporate transition, attended and summarised meetings and helped shed light on what creating a sustainable new enterprise to support faith in finance would look and feel like.

This is an easy and fun role, sharing entrepreneurial experience and insights with Bath Spa's very bright MSc creative tech and enterprise students. They're full of ideas, and need some support and some challenge. The numbers are small so it's more personalised than structured.

I was one of the founding supporters, then chair of Open Rights Group. We set up ORG as a grassroots digital rights campaign to protect civil liberties threatened by poor implementation and regulation of digital technology.

Bath City FC was in crisis with growing debt. I was asked by key supporters to activate a community buy-out process. Working with others this became The Big Bath City Bid. We raised funds and negotiated with the board and owners a transition to Community Benefit Society. Bath City FC is now a community controlled club with stronger regular support, recapitalised, on track to clear its debts and performing better on the pitch.

Co-founded social enterprise to make personal control over personal data a reality. Got the principle adopted by all three UK polical parties for the 2010 general election. Mydex won major government ID contract (alongside huge government contractors) but it didn't work out for us. Long story. Originally supported by the Young Foundation.

This iconic local free house music pub came up for sale freehold. Together with the day manager, band booker and others we formed an IPS Co-op, raised funds, invested and completed successful acquisition; I also sat on the Board for the first year. The Bell Inn has kept its unique character and is trading strongly, paying interest and accumulating reserves.

This project started as a blogging exercise in unfettered thinking about how much better tech-enabled government might be. It produced three core principles - service design, quick wins and a foundation of trust - which anticipated and informed the Coalition Government's Government Digital Service (qv). As well as a load of fun and ideas IdealGovernment spawned a business called ThePublicOffice, a brilliant boutique service created and still run by my coz and colleague Ruth Kennedy.

Ctrl-Shift helps businesses prepare themselves and adapt to working effectively with empowered customers. In the Harvard jargon it offers B2B services (research, education and learning by doing) in the transition to vendor-relationship management ("VRM").

I formed and implemented the strategy, co-founding Kable in 1990 and chairing Kable Ltd from formation until sale to Guardian News & Media in 2007. Kable is now part of Globaldata.
