Bill Herrmann was the President of American Envirocheck Home Inspections, and was primarily engaged in structural Home Inspections and environmental testing for real estate transfers. Certified by New York State as a Home Inspector (License # 16000010268), A member of ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors, member number 243896), ASPREI (American Society of Professional Real Estate Inspectors) he is a Level one Mold Assessor and Certified (New York State D.E.C) Commercial Termite Control Operator. Bill is also an advanced level Scuba Instructor, and has been awarded the highest certification in the SCUBA industry earning the rating of Scuba Instructor Examiner.He holds an AAS Degree in Landscape Design, and BS in Business Administration with a Strategic Planning major and Communications minor. He has completed the program with Purdue University in Pest Control Technology. He has been a member of Toastmasters, Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce, Orange County Chamber of Commerce and the New York State Pest Control Association serving on the Legislative Action Committee. Bill has six years military service, has worked for the Department of Defense in a classified position, and the State of New York as a Law Enforcement Officer investigating Consumer Fraud. Bill relocated to the Hudson Valley from N.Y.C. and Long Island and in 1977. A Past District Governor of Rotary International 2002-2003, Bill began his Rotary career as a Charter member of the Wallkill East Rotary Club in November 1988. He is a Paul Harris Fellow. Bill has traveled abroad many times and has been the guest speaker at several clubs in Mexico, Honduras, Providentiales and the Cayman Islands. His involvement in International Humanitarian projects continues to this day.Bill is a managing partner in Owens-Herrmann Entertainment along with his wife Cathy. Bill has been an elected official serving as the Town Supervisor for the Town of Mamakating from 2013 though 2019. Most important duty is acting as Chief Financial Officer of a 7 million dollar annual budget providing service to 12,000 constituents, in areas such as highway, senior center, parks and recreation, Summer camp, maintenance, court operations, building department, tax collection and assessor.
