Foreign assignment in Buenos Aires, Argentina, supervising the legal affairs of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. Responsibilities included selection and management of outside counsel, negotiation, drafting and review of commercial contracts; corporate compliance and governance matters, real estate acquisitions and sales, construction contracting, employment and labor issues, customs and immigration matters, litigation management, government relations, and legal oversight of humanitarian aid projects.
