Duties included providing didactic and clinical education to crews, reviewing charts regularly to ensure the highest quality of care, and assisting in the writing of medical protocols outlining progressive treatment protocols. In addition, I led a project utilizing Lean Six Sigma methods to decrease launch times and improve patient outcomes at Boston MedFlight (an initiative company had been working on for 10 years)—reduced by 49% in 2 months through cultural and operational interventions. Finally, I developed an innovative Tiered Response System to improve patient care, customer satisfaction, and response times while improving revenue.
