I retired from a 38-year career at UPS where I managed Operations, Industrial Engineering and Security functions primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area. I married later in life and my wife and I have a young son at home. We moved to the Central Coast area of California so my son could be near his cousins. Family is important to us. In my spare time I like to be creative. I play a little guitar and have built all seven guitars I play. I like to do other modest wood-working projects like furniture pieces for the house. I also enjoy motorcycles. I've toured 10 of the 11 western United States and into Canada. I also built my own rigid-frame custom motorcycle and have done a few custom paint jobs for my own and friends' motorcycles. While I'm happy to be retired after a wonderful 38-year career, it is important to me to jump back into employment to keep my mind active and to model work-ethic for my young son.I'd love to bring my professionalism, strong work-ethic, creativity and partnership to enhance your organization.
