I spent my time in Vietnam working as a volunteer English language teacher. I also was teaching students basic IT skills such as office and windows.

Providing deskside support om a range of systems

During my time as a project manager in Sydney I worked alongside many people to move along a major Sydney Metro project. My role here was to ensure my aspects of the project were delivered on time and fully complete.

After the 2011 earthquake that shook Christchurch a major construction effort was underway to rebuild the metropolitan and surrounding areas of the city. Relevel the company I worked for specialised in hydraulically lifting houses and replacing their foundations so that they stood on level ground. My role here was in controlling the computer system that governed the hydraulic systems and providing feedback to the workers and engineers on the project about the load balancing onda system.

Working with local businesses to provide IT support and implement new systems and troubleshoot windows and network problems. This would involve onsite work and desktop, laptop and phone repairs at home.

This is the role where I began my career in computers at the age of 17. I started out in a workshop fixing hardware and software issues.From there I progressed onto fixing machines in businesses and in peoples homes. After a few years of learning the ins and outs I then moved onto troubleshooting networks and eventually onto implementing full computer networks by myself.
