William has been recognized by several leading national authorities, including the National Minority Quality Forum, the Boston Congress of Public Health, and Marquis Who's Who in America, for utilizing the legal system to reduce patient risk and advance health equity among minoritized and underserved populations. In particular, William has developed innovative applications of epidemiology in law and policy to improve the health and well-being of underserved communities and populations.William received his Doctor of Law with Honors, Phi Delta Phi, from Emory University, his Master of Science Secundi Honoris Academici in Chronic Disease Epidemiology from Yale University, and his Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from Duke University.
