Situated on the former Ft. Devens military reservation, the IOP is being developed to further the regional robotics industry ecosystem in collaboration with AUVSI New England, MassTLC Robotics Cluster, and other industry associations and state agencies.

Project created centers of competence with local P&L and budgetary responsibility. The new matrix structure led to improved accountability, clearer lines of responsibility, and better financial oversight.• Analyzed and recommended the transfer of select purchasing activities to Bosch’s global indirect purchasing organization. The transfer will enable material field bundling, reduced costs, a higher degree of regional ownership, and improved business responsiveness. • Responsible for the budget and controlling of SBH - a subsidiary providing event and facilities management services for the Robert Bosch Foundation. The Foundation is one of the largest in Europe and has provided grants in excess of $1.3 billion since its founding. • Required to learn German on the job. Ability to conduct business in German led to more effective communication, deeper cross-cultural understanding, and a two-year foreign assignment extension.

Bosch Thermotechnology Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary and operates under the $4.5 billion Energy and Building Technology sector of the Bosch Group. The company is a leading international manufacturer of heating products and water heaters.CFO for a rapidly expanding manufacturer and supplier of HVAC systems. As a key member of the US leadership team, managed seven direct reports and directed all aspects of strategic business development, finance, accounting, IT, and HR. In 2008, the North American operations generated sales revenue in excess of $170 million.• Led the effort to successfully acquire Controlled Energy Corporation, a $40+ million reseller of HVAC equipment. Led due-diligence process, shaped deal structure, negotiated final purchase price, and managed post-merger integration process. Acquisition opened access to the retail sales channel and key customers such as Home Depot, Lowes, and Menards.• Successfully acquired FHP Manufacturing Corporation, a $50+ million manufacturer of high efficiency geo-thermal heat pumps. Acquisition enabled the company to gain access to the high growth renewable energy sector and establish a manufacturing operation in the US. • Spearheaded implementation of a new IT infrastructure, ERP, and CRM systems. Technology supported “best practice” financial management processes and improved the accuracy, transparency, and speed of information sharing across disparate locations and companies. • Directed all corporate controlling activities. Tracked monthly business performance results against budgeted and forecasted figures. Worked closely with CEO to explain variances and report the financial condition of the organization to all stakeholders. • Accounting responsibilities included oversight of all AP, AR, and GL accounting activities and staff. Converted US GAAP financials to IFRS for external reporting requirements.

Cofounded company along with three MIT engineers. Responsible for financial planning and analysis, accounting, and business development activities. Raised capital through lead investor Dataware Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: DWTI) and managed investor relations. Sold the technology to a Paris-based firm in 2001.

Assistant Manager (1997 – 2000)• Managed a team of 13 people responsible for the financial analysis and planning of the Investor Services division with sales in excess of $400 million. Analyzed monthly performance, developed plans and budgets, advised senior managers and partners, supported year-end audits, and worked on special projects. Worked closely with colleagues based in New York and overseas offices in Dublin, Luxembourg, and Tokyo.Administrative Officer (1995 – 1997)• Championed multiple projects to improve the financial systems, processes, and reporting of the bank. Responsibilities included business requirement analysis, project planning, design and development consultation, quality control testing and end-user training. Coordinated activities with external consultancy partners such as Arthur Andersen & Co., external software developers, and internal engineering staff. Promoted to Assistant Manger by the firm in September 1997.Staff Auditor (1992 – 1995)• As staff auditor, was responsible for the monthly controlling, reconciliation, and variance reporting of international mutual fund accounts with a collective market value of over $50 billion. Promoted to Administrative Officer by the partnership in March 1995.
