Experienced leader with a demonstrated history of working in international affairs, health and conservation. Developed and led infectious disease research and surveillance and biodiversity projects in over 45 countries. Appointed to the WHO IHR Roster of Experts for zoonotic diseases, serves as the Chair of the WOAH Working Group on Wildlife. Extensive experience working with government agencies and Inter-governmental organizations to inform evidence-based policy and regulations and currently serves on the Bipartisan Comm. for Biodefense.
