• Responsible for establishing security process and procedures for Axiom security practices. This includes facility security, badging, clearances, and emergency preparedness (including business continuity plans).• Protect, physically, any classified and proprietary information (in conjunction with IT providing cyber-security), monitor security procedures and ensure compliance with all aspects of the program including personnel, physical and administrative security systems, and procedures.• Interface directly with Axiom Program Management, Legal, and Human Resources• Interface directly with NASA centers, the Houston Airport System, and the Federal Aviation Administration • Process employee security clearances and track investigations • Coordinate, with the Regulatory Attorney, classified visits, meetings, and foreign person visits to Axiom facilities. • Conduct security briefings and security education programs and training.• Investigate losses and security violations and recommend corrective actions • Maintain records for customers and audits and conduct self-inspections• Track international travel by employees, along with IT and the Regulatory Attorney, and brief/debrief as required.• Ensure compliance with National Industrial Security Program (NISP)• Emergency preparedness, response, and contingency planning• Maintain security equipment and systems

• Management of a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), and administration of all Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) associated security programs and measures• Supervisory responsibility for Security staff and the Operations Information Assurance Office• Experience with SCIF construction and renovation of classified facilities in accordance with ICD 705 Technical specifications• Skilled in the Defense Intelligence Agency’s physical and TEMPEST accreditation processes• Management of personnel security and clearance related matters according to DOD, National Security Agency (NSA) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) regulations; Liaison with MAJCOM, ANG, and other federal agencies• Provide guidance and assistance for processing SCI manning positions and eligibility requests• Conduct SCI security briefings, indoctrinations, and debriefings• Investigate SCI security infractions, make recommendations and prepare reports• Review all derogatory information and provide guidance to command staff on security courses of action for personnel• Develop, write, review, and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and emergency action plans for the SCIF• Plan and execute crisis management tests and simulations to further develop emergency action plans for the SCIF
