Chief Kiley's main responsibility is to focus on creating and sustaining a quality departmental organization that delivers superior emergency medical and rescue services that is valued and appreciated by the community.Chief Kiley is responsible for protecting 434,412 citizens and 3 million tourists a year over 497.3 square miles of both land and ocean waters by ensuring the implementation of the overall strategic direction and management of the Department. Deputy Chief Kiley oversees the day-to-day operations of the entire department of 5 Division Chiefs, 8 Brigade Chiefs, 1150 EMS providers and members.
