I am a graduate from Indiana University of Bloomington, majoring in supply chain management, management, and technology management. When I was only 11, I left my hometown, Indonesia, to further my studies in Singapore for seven years. Afterwards, I left Singapore and went to the United States for college. This unique experience has enabled me to adapt easily to my surroundings, which includes communicating with people from different backgrounds. Furthermore, I developed to become responsible even when my parents are not around. On summer 2014, I received an internship opportunity at Harapan Kurnia Textile Indonesia. This brand new factory uses latest technology to dye and finish knitted fabric. As a fresh factory, there were many opportunities for me to make improvements. I was stationed at the warehouse to manage inventory. In addition to that, I also monitor purchasing process and the incoming shipments for new inventory. During my spare time in my internship, I talked with the technicians and head of production to learn more about manufacturing and how the machinery works.At Indiana University, I was the event organizer for a student organization called PERMIAS. It is an organization that unites students from Indonesia and promotes the Indonesian culture to the local community. As an event organizer, I prepared and ran events for the Indonesian students and cultural events for non-Indonesian. Together, we raised over $6000 in two semesters to sponsor for our free cultural event.Currently, I am working in Harapan Kurnia Textile Indonesia as the operational director. My main job is to lead the production team, so we can manufacture fabric that caters to our customers' quality standard and deadline. Besides production, I also lead the utilities team so that they can maintain the machinery and supporting utilities to meet the factory standard and government regulations.
