As a member of the data team at Front Rush, I work on predictive models, recommender systems, and data extraction (primarily in python), as well as manage our web analytics and business reporting tools.Front Rush is a recruiting platform built specifically for college athletic departments to manage their prospects; from recruits to roster to alumni. Front Rush tracks all communications with recruits and an athlete portal allows recruit to fill out and submit on-boarding forms.- Built a blending learning algorithm using Python, Scikit-Learn, and Pandas to increase customer retention. Specifically, feature extracted, optimized parameters, and finally applied several classification models including Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and SVM to the data to predict high-risk candidates.-Created and currently maintain reengagement strategy to further improve renewal rates.-Analyzed various datasets, via single variable/pair-wise/multivariate analysis explorations, while using PMFs/CDFs/etc among others exploratory data analysis techniques.- NLP (Natural Language Processing): Preprocessed and performed categorization on text data using NLTK and Scikit-Learn for use in a spam classifier using multinomial naïve bayes and SVM classifiers.- Write monthly internal report to create and encourage a more data-driven organization using multiple data sources and visualization tools (Python/Google Analytics/Mixpanel/Intercom/Excel/Mode Analytics).- Built recommendation system in python by applying a clustering and ranking algorithm to a collection of items for presentation to users in production. Users can track recruiting efforts in a shared calendar, and use the task manager function to delegate duties and assign follow-ups so nothing falls through the cracks.- Built VBA macros to improve our data import workflow efficiency. These decreased turnaround time 4-fold.- Drafted and implemented standard operating procedures for new account creation and data import projects.- Monitored, mainly in MS SqL, real time system performance to prevent bottlenecks and downtime.- Supported coaches and staff with any questions about their data or the product itself.- Trained new employees on the data side of the product to enhance top to bottom product knowledge culture.
