As a Lead Engineer at Stage, I led and managed a team responsible for delivering bulk processes and automation for a first-of-it's-kind music tech system. In this role, I focused on fostering psychological safety and improving developer experience, which significantly boosted team productivity and helped us catch up with project deadlines.I had a holistic responsibility in the delivery of a business-critical major project, working with the leadership team to oversee various aspects, from business requirements to architecture and implementation, alongside my colleagues.

In addition to providing music-tech and leadership consultancy services, I led the development of a welfare technology system for digital home visits in elder care through a small in-house team. Driving the product's journey from concept to product launch, we collaborated directly with users and built on existing standards and tools. This approach allowed us to deliver a cost-effective, competitive solution that quickly reached profitability.

As a Tech Lead, I built and led a team focused on developing ingestion and process flows for work registrations via CWR. I also co-architected Utopia’s long-term investment in a SaaS copyright system in collaboration with a fellow tech lead. In this domain, I additionally contributed to RFIs and led projects from concept to delivery. Towards the end of my employment, I took on responsibility for planning and implementing cost-saving initiatives across the organization, resulting in significant and crucial savings.Teams I led and contributed to primarily worked with big data processing in golang with gRPC APIs and parquet files on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

As a Developer at Utopia, working with data processing in Go, I adapted DNA sequencing algorithms for music playlist processing and optimized core algorithms for performance. I took end-to-end responsibility for data quality within our data platform, ensuring both accuracy and reliability throughout. Beyond my technical contributions, I played an active role in shaping our engineering culture. I was heavily involved in recruitment efforts, conducting interviews, presenting at industry events, and organizing internal hackathons. I also led the Go backend guild, working across engineering teams to enhance developer experience by establishing platform standards for database management, CI/CD, architecture, gRPC APIs, and authentication principles.

As a consultant, I continued working with some of Sweden's largest hauliers and WAPPO AB, expanding the logistics platform with fleet management and user-friendly back-office capabilities. I had sole responsibility for the back-office system and its required APIs in the logistics platform which meant that I worked across the entire stack with Vue.js in the frontend and Laravel in the backend.During this time I also had various shorter assignments supporting teams with the development and maintenance of go (golang) and Java systems.

In this role, I started focusing more on backend development as I created several real-time integrations which later came to be the foundation for the company's core business. Much of the work I did in this period was focused on a logistics system for one of Sweden's largest hauliers built in PHP on top of Laravel. Due to performance requirements, I also worked extensively with performance optimization in MariaDB (MySQL).

Worked as an all-round web developer creating both small marketing sites with plain Javascript, HTML, and CSS as well as larger customer sites and internal systems built on top of WordPress or Laravel. Due to the small size of the company I mostly structured my own work, collaborating with customers and design agencies as needed.

Contributed new features and bug fixes to the payment processing platform OPay. The platform, which borrowed from blockchain technologies ran on AWS and was written in go (golang).Apart from contributing to OPay I also did various work to improve developer experience and provide business development with data insights. Towards the end of my employment, I also participated in and provided feedback on the architectural planning for an upcoming event-driven FinTech product.
