Department: International Corporate Tax Services•Serve as international tax advisor to clients in a range of industries on international tax services and offerings•Provide technical expertise regarding accounting issues, regulatory information, and research for clients in hedge fund, private equities, and international corporations•Work collaborately with other practice groups within tax, the firm, as well as non-U.S. KPMG member firms to bring the right services and expertise to address and resolve client issues•Maintain active communication with clients in an effort to manage expectations and help ensure client satisfaction•Identify and address complex domestic and international tax issues•Research, write and review client tax advice•Build client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business•Prepare partner allocations of profit and losses, Schedule M-1's and Schedule M-3's to generate Schedule K-1s•Analyzing and preparation of partnership issues regarding to PFIC and QEF (Form 8621), foreign partnerships (Form 8865), foreign corporations (Form 5471 and Form 5472), and disregarded entities (Form 8858)•Prepare and process Schedule K-1s, extensions, and tax returns with supporting schedules for partnership and corporate returns using GoSystem

Department: Financial Service Industry (Hedge Funds and Private Equity)•Provide technical expertise regarding accounting issues, regulatory information, and research for clients in hedge fund industry•Performing security analysis and calculating various tax adjustments (i.e. wash sales, constructive sale, unsettled loss sales, dividend, short sale, straddle)•Prepare partner allocations of profit and losses, Schedule M-1's and Schedule M-3's to generate Schedule K-1s•Analyzing and preparation of partnership issues regarding to FBAR (Form TD F 90-22.1), PFIC and QEF (Form 8621), foreign partnerships (Form 8865), and foreign corporations (Form 5471)•Prepare and process Schedule K-1s, extensions, and tax returns with supporting schedules for partnership and corporate returns using GoSystem and K-1 suite•Assist HR individuals to identify potential candidates in recruiting events

•Reviewed and analyzed transactions related to dividends, interests, derivatives, corporate actions, fund and portfolio purchases and sales•Calculated NAV's and daily dividend factors for domestic and global investment products•Performed cash reconciliation and expense records•Insured all transactions and trades were accounted for properly and on a timely basis•Researched on any price breaks and margins per Bloomberg and IDC
