One of the things I enjoy most is helping a business avoid a major mishap that’s lurking right around the corner. There might be a hole in a firewall, for example, that’s opening the door to a cyber security breach. Or a broken backup system that’s about to lose invaluable company data.That’s where I come in. With managed services, clients get a well-maintained IT infrastructure, quick problem resolution, total security and easy access to experienced technicians, all at a fixed price.On the cyber security front, I work with both business owners and homeowners to ensure their businesses and homes are protected from hackers. We also work with clients on long term technology planning. In all reality, the technology tools a business deployed years ago probably aren’t doing the job today. That’s where we come in. We work with the business owner and/or IT director to map out a high level plan for the organization’s technology, including networks, cyber security, hardware, software, disaster recovery and business continuity, remote work and ongoing maintenance. Then we put a plan into place for switching over to new systems and tools with absolute minimal business disruption.One other note worth mentioning: when my firm moved to a brand new office building across town in 2019, I gained a whole new level of experience in technology infrastructure planning. I am always happy to talk with others about hybrid networks, wiring, phone systems and planning ahead for a big move.My quick advice? Every detail matters when it comes to technology planning.
