As CEO, I bootstrapped Wellin5 from a concept to a $1M ARR in 2 years. Our team increased from one founder to a team of 12 based in Canada and the US. I recruited highly-accomplished advisors with in-depth experience in employee benefits, e-commerce, IPOs, strategic partnerships, and fundraising ($6.5B through public and private equity markets). We acquired a silicon-valley startup called Therachat in Feb 2020 that had been used by 7,500 clinicians and 20,000 users to mark our strategic entry into the US market. My expertise includes 15+ years of experience in vision-casting, fundraising, strategic partnerships & positioning, mergers & acquisitions, talent-spotting, team building & management, as well as envisioning and creating blueprints for new inventions and products.

I worked directly with Compass Canada in partnership with Transport Canada to assist and manage the federal facility of the Vancouver International airport (YVR) with high-security clearance. My responsibilities included the management of a large team of 50+ employees, working various shifts. I collaborated with other managers as well as corporate partners to ensure the smooth transition of international passenger traffic, Canadian immigration, and overall management of one of the largest employers in the province of BC.

I started as software support using a healthcare software system to manage patient triage for 12+ hospitals in the Greater Vancouver area delegating and communicating with a team of 500+ employees on the front lines. After a year, I was promoted to manager for one of the largest hospitals in the area, to assist with implementing infection control protocols set forth by the provincial health care authority. In my role as a supervisor, I led a team of 50+ employees. I implemented quality assurance protocols, health & safety procedures, resolved conflicts, and developed strategic relationships with corporate clients in fast-paced, high-stress healthcare industry.

Singing Waters is a faith-based counseling retreat center that accommodates up to 60-people. I worked at the center in a team-supporting role to ensure the smooth operations of the facility. Building positive relationships, being sensitive to client needs and exceeding all expectations were some of my primary responsibilities. I worked closely with the direct manager as well as the operations director to communicate and organize different events, conferences, meetings, as well as manage a large number of volunteers and team members from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
