Civil engineer with 30+ years experience in all aspects of design and construction primarily focused on civil infrastructure projects. I have experience working on the construction side, consulting side and Owners side of projects. I am currently the Project Delivery Manager for the University of Delaware's Project Planning and Delivery Department. In my role i support other PM's and Sr. PM's in successfully completing projects of varying sizes and complexity. This includes scope and budget development, designer and contractor selection, contract negotiations, internal client interaction and assisting with required internal processes and approvals. I also manage a portfolio of projects as the PM including a lab addition, upgrades to UD's Central Utility plant and 5 completed underground utility projects. The portfolio of underground projects was completed under budget. I am also currently a co-administrator of the University's project management software assisting both internal and external users with the system.Prior to joining UD, i worked in consulting for more than 20 years managing civil departments in most instances and managing a satellite office in Florida.I am licensed as a Professional Engineer in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I am a former president of the Delaware Section of the ASCE (2001 and 2002).
