During my bachelors degree in mechanical engineering I thrived in my project based classes such as junior integration and senior design. In these classes I developed a self driving capture the flag robot, and a adaptive guitar chord mechanism. In these projects I developed strong leadership skills, time management skills, design thinking, and SolidWorks capabilities. The highlight of my professional experiences so far comes from being a Project Engineer Intern with Zaist Construction Management. During my two summers with the company I work on the remodel of Teton Village Sports in Teton Village, Wyoming and the Rusty Parrot Hotel in Jackson, Wyoming. On these projects I focused on geofoam drainage systems, slot drains, and firestopping systems. I learned how to effectively communicate with suppliers and subcontractor's, create order forms, design drainage systems, survey elevations, manage RFIs and RFPs, and complete initial budgeting.As I graduate from college I am excited to start my career in the engineering market. Studying abroad in Amsterdam has taught me that I would easily move for a job. I am hoping I find myself in an active city and potentially around mountains were I can continue my passion of skiing.

On my first project I was the lead for ZCM on the Skywalk located on top of Rendezvous Mountain at JHMR ski resort. Currently I am a project engineer working at the Rust Parrot Hotel in the town of Jackson.
My internship with ZCM allowed me to engage with an on site engineering team and a company involved with many projects. I developed critical thinking skills when developing tapered geofoam systems and slot drain packages for hotel courtyards. I also had the opportunity to work closely with engineers and architects through RFIs, Submittals, and OAC meetings where I gained strong communication skills. This internship provided me with the opportunity to see how engineering teams approach project from communicating to the client, initial budgeting, and problem solving in the field.
I work as a carpenter for 2 summers. I developed key job site skills such as communication, saftey, and crane signals. I also became highly proficient at framing floors, walls, some finish work, and demolition.
Working at Teton Pines I was an employee of all trades. I mowed greens in the mornings, served lunches, bussed dinners, and was a key component in the catering crew. This job taught me the meaning of hard work. I developed mechanical skills while working with mowers, but I also was tasked to communicate with members while serving in the restaurant. I developed a knack for efficiency and detail in both the restaurant and on the course.
